Last updated: September 24, 2026
1. Overview
This website, https://litelierdesigns.com, is owned and operated by Gina Litelier Kids, an Egyptian limited liability company, Commercial Registration No. 272526 and Tax Registration No. 773-814-361, trading as Litelier Kids (“Litelier Kids,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website, online store, content, features, tools, digital products, downloads, customer accounts and related services (collectively, the “Services”).
Our online store is hosted by Shopify, which provides the ecommerce platform that enables us to offer the Services.
By visiting our website, creating an account, placing an order, downloading a product or otherwise using the Services, you agree to these Terms and the policies incorporated into them, including our:
-
Privacy Policy;
-
Return, Refund and Cancellation Policy; and
-
Digital Shipping and Delivery Policy.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Services.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least the age of legal majority in your country or have permission from a parent or legal guardian to purchase from or use the Services.
By placing an order, you confirm that:
-
You are legally capable of entering into a binding agreement;
-
The information you provide is accurate and complete;
-
You are authorized to use the selected payment method; and
-
Your purchase and use of the product will comply with applicable law and these Terms.
You must not use our products or Services for unlawful, fraudulent or unauthorized purposes.
3. Digital Products
Litelier Kids primarily sells downloadable digital products, including sewing patterns, instructions and related files.
Unless a product page expressly states otherwise:
-
Products are supplied digitally;
-
No physical item will be shipped;
-
Product images showing finished garments or other completed items are examples or illustrations;
-
Fabric, sewing supplies and finished garments are not included;
-
Digital files are delivered in the formats stated on the product page; and
-
You are responsible for having suitable software, equipment, printing facilities and sewing materials.
Please read the complete product description, size information, skill level, language, file format, printing requirements and included materials before purchasing.
4. Product Information
We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, measurements, size ranges, colours, prices and other information are accurate.
However:
-
Colours may appear differently depending on your screen, printer, paper and settings;
-
Printing scale can be affected by printer configuration;
-
Finished results can vary depending on measurements, fabric, materials, alterations and sewing techniques; and
-
Minor corrections or improvements may be made to digital files.
You must follow the printing instructions and verify any test square or scale indicator before printing or cutting fabric.
If you believe a product contains a technical error or is materially different from its description, contact us at info@litelierdesigns.com.
Nothing in this section limits rights that cannot legally be excluded.
5. Prices, Currency and Taxes
Product prices are displayed on the website before checkout. Prices may be shown in different currencies depending on your location or selected market.
The final amount payable, including any applicable taxes, will be displayed at checkout before you complete the purchase.
Your card issuer, bank or payment provider may apply:
-
Currency-conversion rates;
-
International transaction fees;
-
Bank charges; or
-
Other payment-related fees.
These charges are controlled by the relevant financial institution and are not charged by Litelier Kids.
We may change prices or promotions at any time. Price changes do not affect orders already completed.
6. Orders and Contract Formation
Submitting an order is an offer to purchase the selected products.
An order is accepted when:
-
Payment has been successfully authorized;
-
We issue an order confirmation; and
-
We make the digital product available for delivery or download.
An automated acknowledgement does not require us to accept an order if there is a payment failure, pricing error, technical error, suspected fraud, product-availability issue or legal restriction.
We may reject, limit or cancel an order where reasonably necessary, including when:
-
Payment is declined or reversed;
-
Information provided is incomplete or inaccurate;
-
The order appears fraudulent or unauthorized;
-
A price or product description contains an obvious error;
-
The purchase violates these Terms;
-
The product cannot legally be supplied; or
-
A technical problem prevents fulfillment.
If we cancel an order after receiving payment, we will refund the amount paid for the cancelled portion to the original payment method.
For digital product purchases, our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders and processes payments, returns and refunds. The licence terms governing your use of the digital content remain as set out in these Terms.
7. Payment
Payments are processed by our online reseller and Merchant of Record, Paddle.com, which handles payment processing, applicable sales tax and VAT collection, and the processing of returns and refunds. Your payment transaction is also subject to Paddle's Buyer Terms, which are presented at checkout.
For any question or concern about your order, including refund requests, please contact us first at info@litelierdesigns.com. We personally review every request and will work with Paddle to resolve it.
By submitting payment information, you authorize the applicable payment provider to charge the total amount shown at checkout.
We generally do not receive or store your complete card number or security code. Payment providers process payment information under their own terms, privacy notices and regulatory obligations.
A payment may be subject to fraud screening, authentication, verification or additional information requests. We are not responsible for a payment provider or financial institution declining or delaying a transaction.
8. Digital Delivery
After successful payment, digital products are normally delivered through one or more of the following methods:
-
A download link shown on the order-confirmation page;
-
A download link sent by email; or
-
Access through a customer account or digital-download portal.
Delivery is considered completed when the download link or account access is made available to the email address or customer account provided with the order.
You are responsible for:
-
Providing a correct and accessible email address;
-
Checking spam, junk and promotional folders;
-
Maintaining access to your customer account;
-
Downloading and securely storing purchased files; and
-
Keeping download links and account credentials private.
Delivery may occasionally be delayed by payment review, technical problems, maintenance, internet interruption or events outside our reasonable control.
If you do not receive access within the timeframe stated in our Digital Shipping and Delivery Policy, contact info@litelierdesigns.com with your name and order number.
9. Cancellation and Refunds
Digital delivery may begin immediately after payment. You can request a full refund within 14 days of your purchase, as described in our Refund Policy. Nothing in these Terms removes any mandatory consumer rights.
10. Digital-Product License
All digital products are licensed, not sold.
Litelier Kids grants the original purchaser a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to download and use the purchased files:
- For personal sewing projects;
- To make items for family and gifts;
- To produce and sell limited quantities of finished physical items under the Small-Business Handmade Licence described below; and
- For permitted educational use as described in these Terms.
Purchasing a product does not transfer copyright, trademark rights, design rights or any other intellectual-property rights to the purchaser.
You may make reasonable backup copies for your own use, but you remain responsible for keeping the files, account access and download links private.
Any commercial production outside the Small-Business Handmade License requires a separate written Commercial Production License from Litelier Kids.
11. Small-Business Handmade Sales & Commercial Production
Small-Business Handmade Licence
The original purchaser may use a Litelier Kids pattern to produce and sell up to 100 finished physical items from that individual pattern during any consecutive 12-month period, subject to the following conditions:
- Finished items must be made by the purchaser or within the purchaser's own small, in-house handmade sewing business;
- Production must not be outsourced to a factory, manufacturer, external contractor, third-party production facility or other external production service;
- Only finished physical items may be sold;
- Pattern files, printed pattern pieces, instructions, illustrations, templates and download links must not be sold, shared, included with finished items, copied or distributed;
- The purchaser must not claim ownership or authorship of the underlying Litelier Kids pattern or design materials;
- Litelier Kids branding must not be used in a way that suggests a partnership, endorsement or official Litelier Kids product; and
- Modifying or adapting a pattern for a finished item does not transfer ownership of the underlying pattern or create a right to reproduce, distribute or sell the original or modified pattern.
Attribution such as “Made using a Litelier Kids pattern” is appreciated but not required.
Commercial Production
The standard pattern licence does not include:
- Production exceeding 100 finished items from an individual pattern during any consecutive 12-month period;
- Factory or industrial production;
- Production outsourced to a manufacturer, factory, contractor or third-party production facility;
- Wholesale manufacturing or other larger-scale commercial production; or
- Providing pattern files or pattern pieces to an external manufacturer or production partner.
These uses require a separate written Commercial Production License from Litelier Kids before production begins.
Commercial Production Licenses may have separate terms relating to production quantity, duration, territory, manufacturing arrangements and other usage rights.
For commercial licensing enquiries, contact info@litelierdesigns.com.
Permission to sell finished physical items does not include permission to reproduce, sell or distribute the pattern itself, or to sell sewing kits containing copies of Litelier Kids pattern pieces, instructions or illustrations, unless Litelier Kids has provided separate written authorization.
12. Educational Use
The original purchaser may use a Litelier Kids pattern to teach an in-person or live online sewing class or workshop, provided that:
-
Every participating student has their own legally purchased copy of the pattern, or the instructor purchases one licence for each participant;
-
Pattern files, printed pattern pieces, instructions and download links are not photocopied, emailed, uploaded, shared or distributed between participants;
-
The instructor may demonstrate techniques using their own licensed copy;
-
The instructor may show limited portions of the pattern or instructions during live teaching when reasonably necessary for the lesson;
-
Course handouts and supporting materials must not reproduce substantial portions of the pattern, instructions or illustrations;
-
A live online class must not make the complete pattern visible or downloadable to unauthorized participants; and
-
The class must not imply that it is sponsored, certified or endorsed by Litelier Kids unless we have provided written permission.
Uploading a pattern or substantial portions of it to a learning-management system, shared drive, recorded course, membership platform or publicly accessible website is prohibited without written permission.
A class recording must not reproduce, display or provide access to substantial portions of the pattern or instructions. Instructors who wish to create a recorded commercial course featuring a Litelier Kids pattern must obtain prior written permission.
Schools, organizations, online-course creators and instructors requiring shared copies, recorded instruction or multiple-user access should contact info@litelierdesigns.com to request a classroom or educational licence.
13. Prohibited Uses of Digital Products
Except as expressly permitted in these Terms or a separate written licence, you must not:
-
Share, forward, upload or distribute digital files or download links;
-
Sell, resell, sublicense, rent or commercially distribute the files;
-
Give the files to another person, group, customer, student or organization;
-
Upload the files to file-sharing websites, social-media groups, marketplaces, shared drives or learning platforms;
-
Copy, scan, photograph or reproduce the files for redistribution;
-
Claim the pattern, instructions, illustrations or files as your own;
-
Remove copyright notices, watermarks or purchaser-identification information;
-
Convert or modify the files for redistribution or resale;
-
Use the files to create another pattern, template, course or competing digital product;
-
Include copies of pattern pieces or instructions with finished physical items;
-
Use one purchased copy for an entire class, group, workshop or organization; or
-
Use automated tools or artificial-intelligence systems to reproduce, extract, train on, imitate or commercially exploit our protected designs or content, except where such restriction is prohibited by law.
Any permission provided for handmade sales or education applies only to the uses expressly described in these Terms. All other rights are reserved.
14. Personalized and Protected Files
Where disclosed, digital files may be personalized or stamped with limited purchaser or order information, such as:
-
Customer name;
-
Email address;
-
Order number; or
-
Transaction reference.
This information may be added to identify the authorized purchaser, help prevent unauthorized distribution and protect our intellectual-property rights.
You must not remove, obscure or alter purchaser-identification information included in a file.
15. Intellectual Property
The Services and all associated content—including sewing patterns, instructions, illustrations, photographs, graphics, text, videos, product names, logos, branding, page designs and digital files—are owned by or licensed to Litelier Kids and are protected by copyright, trademark and other intellectual-property laws.
You may not reproduce, republish, distribute, modify, create derivative digital products from, publicly display, commercially exploit or otherwise use protected content except as expressly permitted by these Terms or an applicable written licence.
“Litelier Kids” and associated logos and branding may not be used without prior written permission.
16. Customer Accounts
You may be able to create or use a customer account to access orders and downloads.
You are responsible for:
-
Providing accurate account information;
-
Maintaining the confidentiality of account credentials;
-
Restricting access to your device and account;
-
Activities carried out through your account; and
-
Informing us promptly about suspected unauthorized access.
You must not share an account to give other people access to purchased files.
We may suspend or restrict an account where we reasonably suspect fraud, unauthorized distribution, misuse, a security risk or violation of these Terms.
17. Reviews and User Content
If reviews or other content-submission features are available, you may submit ratings, comments, photographs or other content.
You retain ownership of your original content. By submitting content for publication, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, display, format and use it in connection with our website, products and marketing, subject to applicable law and any choices presented when you submit it.
You confirm that:
-
You own the content or have permission to submit it;
-
The content is accurate and based on a genuine experience;
-
It does not infringe another person’s rights;
-
It does not contain confidential or sensitive information; and
-
It is not unlawful, deceptive, defamatory, abusive, obscene or malicious.
We may moderate, reject or remove content that violates these Terms or applicable law. We are not obligated to publish every review.
18. Customer Support and Third-Party Platforms
We may provide support through email, WhatsApp or other communication platforms.
When you use a third-party platform, its own terms and privacy policies also apply. We are not responsible for the availability, security or independent practices of a third-party service.
Do not send payment-card numbers, security codes, passwords or unnecessary identity documents through email, WhatsApp, reviews or social-media messages.
19. Prohibited Uses of the Services
You must not use the Services to:
-
Violate applicable law;
-
Infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights;
-
Commit fraud or submit false payment information;
-
Distribute malware or harmful code;
-
Scrape, crawl, extract or copy content without authorization;
-
Circumvent download restrictions or security measures;
-
Attempt unauthorized access to accounts, systems or data;
-
Harass, threaten or impersonate another person;
-
Submit misleading reviews or communications;
-
Interfere with the operation or security of the Services; or
-
Redistribute digital products contrary to their licence.
We may suspend or terminate access and take appropriate legal action where these restrictions are violated.
20. Third-Party Tools and Links
The Services may include tools, links or integrations provided by third parties, including Shopify, payment providers, digital-delivery services, review providers, WhatsApp, Meta and other social-media or technology platforms.
Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We do not control and are not responsible for their independent content, availability, security or practices.
You should review the applicable third-party terms before using those services.
21. Shopify
Our store is hosted by Shopify. Shopify processes information when you visit, interact with or make purchases from our store, including to provide services based on your interactions with our store, other Shopify merchants and Shopify.
Information may be shared with Shopify and relevant third parties located in other countries to provide and improve the Services, personalization, security, analytics and advertising-related features.
For more information, review our Privacy Policy and the Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy.
22. Privacy
Our collection, use, disclosure and protection of personal information are described in our Privacy Policy.
By using the Services, you acknowledge that personal information will be processed as described in that policy, subject to your rights under applicable law.
23. Refunds
Returns, refunds, exchanges and cancellations are governed by our Return, Refund and Cancellation Policy.
Nothing in these Terms removes any refund, cancellation, conformity or consumer right that cannot legally be excluded.
24. Availability and Changes to the Services
We may update, modify, suspend or discontinue part of the Services where reasonably necessary.
We do not guarantee that the website, customer accounts or downloads will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We may perform maintenance, correct errors, update files, introduce new features or change third-party providers.
If a change materially prevents access to a purchased product, contact us so that we can provide a reasonable remedy where available.
25. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Services and digital products are provided on an “as available” basis.
We do not guarantee that:
-
The Services will always be uninterrupted or free from technical errors;
-
A pattern will suit every body shape, fabric, sewing method or personal preference;
-
Every device, printer or software configuration will be compatible; or
-
Use of a product will produce a particular commercial or creative result.
This section does not exclude warranties, guarantees or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including rights relating to defective or materially misdescribed digital content.
26. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Litelier Kids will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from use of the Services or digital products, including loss resulting from:
-
Incorrect measurements;
-
Fabric or material selection;
-
Cutting or sewing errors;
-
Failure to follow instructions;
-
Incorrect printer scaling;
-
Device or software incompatibility that was adequately disclosed;
-
Unauthorized sharing of an account or download link; or
-
Third-party services outside our reasonable control.
Where liability cannot legally be excluded, our liability will be limited only to the extent permitted by law.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded.
27. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to compensate Litelier Kids for reasonable losses, liabilities and expenses resulting from your unlawful use of the Services, infringement of another person’s rights, unauthorized distribution of our digital products or material violation of these Terms.
This provision does not apply where the loss was caused by our own breach, negligence or unlawful conduct.
28. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to an account, download or Service where reasonably necessary because of:
-
Fraud or suspected fraud;
-
Unauthorized payment activity;
-
Security risks;
-
Unauthorized file sharing or resale;
-
Material breach of these Terms; or
-
A legal or regulatory requirement.
Termination does not remove payment obligations or liabilities that arose before termination. Provisions concerning intellectual property, licences, liability, disputes and other matters intended to survive will remain effective.
29. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Before starting formal legal proceedings, you and Litelier Kids agree to make a reasonable attempt to resolve the dispute by contacting the other party and explaining the issue.
Subject to mandatory consumer law, courts with jurisdiction in Cairo, Egypt may hear disputes arising from these Terms or the Services.
If you are a consumer, you retain any mandatory rights and protections provided by the laws of your country of residence. Nothing in this section prevents you from using a court, regulator, consumer-protection body or dispute process available to you under mandatory law.
30. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted or removed where necessary. The remaining provisions will continue in effect.
31. No Waiver
Our failure to enforce a provision of these Terms does not waive our right to enforce it later.
32. Entire Agreement
These Terms and the policies incorporated into them constitute the agreement between you and Litelier Kids concerning the Services and replace prior communications concerning the same subject.
Product-specific licence terms or conditions displayed on a product page form part of the agreement for that product. If a product-specific term conflicts with these general Terms, the product-specific term controls for that product, subject to applicable law.
33. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes to our products, Services, service providers, legal obligations or business practices.
The updated Terms will be posted on the website with a revised “Last updated” date. Changes apply from their stated effective date and do not retroactively remove rights already acquired unless permitted by law.
